We are really excited to announce that our website has been getting a huge overhaul. Head on over to www.crmw.net and check it out! There are a few new features already in place that we want to make you aware of and several others already in the works.
What's new?
Photo Gallery: CRMW has a great new photo gallery and now even YOU can upload photos to the CRMW website. If you have photos of mountain top removal that you have taken, or photos of pristine mountains, WV plants, wildlife, gardens, or people in action, please sign up for an account on the photo gallery page and upload your photos.
Handouts, Tools, and Fliers: We get a lot of requests for fact sheets, handouts, and various tools that people can use to help spread the word and educate others about mountaintop removal. Many of these tools are now available on our website for you to download. Help yourself to all of them and keep on spreading the word about mountaintop removal!
Easy Membership Sign Up and Donate Online: You can now become a member of Coal River Mountain Watch via our website. Just click on the link that says "Join" on the left side bar on our site, fill out the form, and choose a method of payment for our small membership fee. Additional donations are also accepted through our Paypal account that is accessible by clicking on the "Support" link.
The Mountain Holler: The Mountain Holler is our new online journal/blog. Watch for commentary and articles from CRMW staff and community members, special letters to the editor, book and movie reviews, poems and art. If you have something you would like us to consider posting, send it to coalriver@crmw.net.
Coming Soon! What's in store for our website in the future?
Online Mountain Store: This is something we are super excited about. Our online mountain store will carry basic things like t-shirts, buttons, and bumper stickers, etc. In addition to those great and in high demand items, the store will feature products and items made by local craftspeople and artisans. We will keep you updated on this as much as possible.
